Essentis Interchange

Essentis Interchange is the central monetary transaction manager, processing all incoming customer transactions and maintaining a central transactions database.

Essentis Interchange also manages the clearing and settlement communication with the major International payment schemes, ensuring compliance with Visa, MasterCard, MasterCard Europe and JCB. Along with the Essentis range of products, Essentis Interchange can easily be adapted to manage clearing and settlement with additional networks such as domestic payment schemes.

Built to ISO 8583 specifications, Essentis Interchange contains separate processes for passing clearing and settlement data to and from each of the International networks.

Essentis Interchange has been developed in line with EMV standards and is capable of processing Smart Credit and Debit clearing and settlement transactions.

The new MasterCard IPM format has been implemented at many customer sites.

The receipt of and entry of dispute transactions (chargebacks, representments, etc) is also managed through Essentis Interchange.
